Wow, Congratulations That is a great invention <3 Thank you!
Keep this kind of content coming! Love that it's video of the flash.
Love a good inside flag. Stylin.
loveeee to watch him climb! always great style
What's Jonathan's hardest flash? Or onsight?
According to 8a.nu he's flashed 3 5.14b's and onsighed 10 5.14a's
Hey Team, ya reckon this might be rigid enough to use for window cleaning, etc?
It's fairly rigid along the length, but it's less ridged to twisting.
Promo sm 🤩
I'm not saying there should be an advertisement where you someone takes a beer luge down the length of one of these after a hard send, but the design lends itself to that nicely :)
Way expensive, but my mind was blown when shown how this works at the store. Bought it and showed it to a few people at the crag and they all loved it.
This is one of my favorite climbing films of all time✌
I definitely love these!!!! Thanks
❤

❤
That is an excellent explanation and demonstration.
Thanks for keeping us safe Doug
I don't know nor am I interested in climbing information but I greatly appreciate you putting this out for those who are. Keep it up friend and thank you! And commenting gets this on the algorithm more so hello from Louisiana❤
Metolious, you just might save someone's life putting out a video like this! Thank you!!! I applaude your humble demeanor!
This is super cool!
Innovative - love it! But $$$... We'll easily be able to identify Bay Area climbers when we see them deploying this. I'd like it to be two feet longer and/or to see the price down to the <$100 mark.
Fantastic innovation - get that manufacturing dialed in and drop the price to 100 bucks and you’ve got a hit on your hands. However at 225 any other stick clip is plenty easy to carry by sliding it in the water bottle pocket of your pack haha. Plus the regular stick clip options out there can all be taken up a hard sport route for cheating your way to the top, whereas this would be a hassle to carry. Neat idea though!
No offense I love Metolius and love your guy's team, but when I first seen this product Video months ago I thought it was an April fools joke or something. This has to be one of the silliest climbing products out there. And the price is insane! I've overheard multiple parties at the crag talking smack about this product as well so im not the only one...
sure it's expensive but how is it silly? this is super clever
@shoqed if it gets me higher than a fully extended trekking pole, I love it....
wow
That's pretty rad, but ooof I'm going to stick with my painter's pole at that price.
I want something like this but that turns into a table. ^_^
Dang this is brilliant
thanks, I just bought a dynamic PAS 🤙🏼
This guy knows exactly what he’s doing.
My eyes my eyes!!! OMFG never going to be able to get that out of my head 😮
Never climbed anything but damn if ever I do that’s stuck in my head. thanks!
oh wow life saving tip
Just bought the camp table from REI. LOVE it. Wood is beautiful, well made and it's easy to assemble and take with me for car camping. I'm trying to figure out a way to alter your couch so I could fold it down to a bed.
Yo, Metolius! You do the best re-slinging and cam lubing in the business! I'd love to see a video of how you clean and buff the cams so they look brand new when you send them back!
Thanks Doug!
What pole is that
It's a new product coming out soon.
@@metolius I've been looking for 9 days! Hahaha good, can't wait to see it on the market.

I think I would let them dry a bit before oiling. If oil traps water inside the water, it can cause parts to rust.
The care what?
Simple, like the habgboard. Like it
What are the little rectangular plastic things that come attached (screwed to) the hang board and the mounting piece? I'm assuming you take these off before mounting?
Those are for retail stores to hang the board from hooks if they want to put it on display. Yes remove them, you will not need them.
Neat!
Simply put, these are the best. A #7 Metolius (light blue) weighs 3.9 oz and costs $75. A BD Ultralight #2 (gold) weighs 4.44 oz and costs $108. Pay $33 more for a heavier cam that has a <10 yr lifespan due to its Dyneema stem? I think not. Even the regular BD Camalot #2 costs $10 more ($85) while weighing 26% more (4.94 oz). So why are people still racking up with Camalots? They'll tell you about thumb loops and bigger placement range due to BD's double axle design. The double axle design is innovative for sure. But Black Diamond's published placement range is deceptive since it lists maximum not usable range. Nobody places a completely tipped out cam or one that is so retracted that it will be unremovable. When comparing max ranges of a Metolius #7 and a BD #2, the difference is almost nonexistent (M: 1.58-2.5", BD: 1.46-2.55"). The difference is .17", which is nothing when considering that you could carry several extra cams with the additive weight and cost savings of a Metolius rack. As for the thumb loops, they're nice, but I've found that I don't really notice not having them. I've never dropped a Metolius cam for lack of them, and I doubt you will either. Now if Metolius offered these with extendable slings like Wild Country so that you needed fewer alpine draws?? Whewee! Now that would be game over
Is there a store in Boulder/Lyons/Estes Park where I can see the furniture?
nice for grigri, but will the grigri fit onto the kleeper section when it's racked onto your harness? I came to this video to find out but you didn't show that.
The Grigri will not fit into the Gatekeeper's second gate, but your gear loop will if you hang it upside-down.
Great stuff!!!
